Obituary of Flavilla Baker

Flavilla Cleveland Lindsay Baker Flavilla Baker of Olympia died Friday, September 3, 2010 in Saint Peter Hospital. She was born October 28, 1908 in Seattle Washington and graduated from the University of Washington with a BA and Masters degree. Flavilla married Donald Bush Baker June 11, 1938 and has lived in Olympia on Elde Inlet off Cooper Pt. Road for 65 years. She enjoyed taking walks on the beach and going out in her row boat. She taught school in Olympia for 32 years and was the head of the Math department at Reeves Middle School when she retired. Flavilla was active in the Masonic organizations of Amaranth and White Shrine. Surviving are her two sons, Winston Baker and Harlin Baker both of Olympia and six grandchildren.
