Village Green Retirement Home Lincoln Presentation

Clair Ferris was invited to the Village Green Retirement Community in Federal Way where he did a Lincoln Presentation for Presidents' Week. The presentation was well received with a special thank-you from Kathie Krause, activities director at the Village Green Retirement Community in Federal Way.

"Dear Clair, Thank you so very much for your Lincoln Presentation! I am getting so many positive responses about it. Many saying 'Best program we have had at VG!' A couple folks asked if you'll do another one or are even open to pre-planning and obit writing. Thank you again for your time and thoughtful presentation!"

Sincerely, Katie Krause

December 18, 2017 marks the Amtrak 501 passenger train derailment heading from Seattle to Portland, prompting immediate action by first responders – to aid everyone aboard the train, including those who required blood. Three years later, in partnership with our state officials, we thank the donors who stepped up before and after the accident through the first Washington and Oregon State Blood Donor Day on December 18, 2020.

Join us in supporting our local hospitals and patients all winter long! All Donors who register on either day will receive a special Washington Donor Day HOPE pin to celebrate this special day

If you can’t donate at this Pop-Up, you can still participate in the Washington Blood Donor Day Virtual Drive Dec. 1-18: Make your appointment here: On the day of your donation share the code “HOPE” to count toward our final goal of 501.
