Obituary of Carol G. Villines

Carol Grace Villines, 81, of Olympia passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010. Many residents will remember her as the owner of Charters Corner tavern for the Past 32 years. As a “Navy Wife” Carol was able to live in Japan, Illinois, California, New York, Virginia and Panama. She loved horses and horse racing, 4H, bowling, gardening, and traveling to Reno, NV.Surviving Carol are her son Ward (Debra) Villines of Tumwater; daughters Vicki (Robert) Clark of Shelton and Deborah Bransford (Alan Adolphson) of University Place; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of the Osen family. Her husband William M. Villines Jr and son William M. Villines III, preceded her in death. Family suggests donations to a charity of your choice.
