Obituary of Joanne Mary Smith

The light of our life, "Hon" lost her fight with cancer at the age of 73. She left the world as peacefully as she entered after a beautiful life of motherhood, friendship and as a loving wife to Walter. Her joy in life was her family and friends, her most treasured time was spent in their company at her home sharing her garden. Joanne's life began in Spokane, Washington on June 29, 1937. She is missed and remembered by all that loved her and were touched by her loving ways. Joanne is survived by her husband of 43 years Walter, their son Rod and his siblings, Katherine Murphy, Robert S. Johnson, Timothy W. Johnson and Michael D. Johnson. She is also survived by her sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. All will miss her daily including Bella her beloved dog of four years.
