Obituary of Kathleen Reynolds

Kathleen (Kathi) Denise Reynolds Kathi Reynolds, 52, a long time resident of Napavine, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. She was born April 27, 1957 in Centralia to Donald and Bernice (Wendling) Reynolds. Kathi graduated from Napavine High School in 1976. That same year, she was the runner-up of the Miss Lewis County Pageant. She had been married to Jim Mitchell who preceded her in death in August 2009. She had worked as a waitress, egg processor, motel maid and for the last six years as a homemaker. Kathi’s interests were many. They included rock hunting, casino hopping, wine making, trucking the States with her husband, camping, gardening in tubs and pots and road trips on the motorcycle. Survivors include one daughter, Kristine (Ed) Robertson; one brother, Gene Reynolds; and three grandchildren, Kody, Bailey and Lacee Robertson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Dennis. A memorial fund has been established in her daughter’s name, Kristine Robertson, at Twin Star Credit Union. Remembrances may be sent to 1105 Highway 603, Chehalis, WA 98532. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date in the Chronicle.
