We were truly saddened to hear about Elaine. We thought of her often and will miss her. Our children think of her as their "other" grandma! It was a true pleasure knowing her and how happy she made our Dad, Jim.

Elaine, Elaine, Elaine.. She brought such joy to my dad (Jim). I know it was not an easy job to come into our family, but she was so great. We all loved her, and she was so accepting of all of us Cahills. Elaine, thank you for sharing your life and love with me and my children. You will be missed.

I worked with Elaine in the 70's at Rainier Bank. She was never afraid to speak her mind, she was straight forward, honest, and knew so much, we all learned alot from her. I have nothing but fond memories of those days. She was a great lady.

I am sorry to hear about Elaine. Elaine trained me as a teller when I started at Rainier Bank in February of 1979. She and Darell invited my husband Kit and myself over for dinner and out on their boat on numerous occasions. She did have customers that would wait just for her. I remember Elaine smoking a cigarette in her teller window between customers. It was a sad day when Elaine retired from the bank.

We are deeply saddened to hear about Elaine,
She was such a sweet lady, FULL of life,we would always run outside if she would stop by Mikes place to say hey because she was always so pleasant, always smiling! I learned to not take life so seriously from her, she must have invented the word 'whatever', or if she could'nt believe it,. . . Judis Preist!! We didnt know her name at first so we called her Ms. Mike, then when I found out it was Elaine . . .well there are so many Ileen's & Elaines, I could'nt remember which one it was until I really got to know her & then it was easy, she was so exciting she had to be a EEEEElaine because EEEE-laine reminded me of EEEEEK! & that was so much more exciting than IIIIlean, She was so excited when her kids bought her that blue car!!! She was such a GREAT lady, and will be soooo missed!! She had a smile & great laugh that lit up the room,Our condolences go out to the family, its so very hard to lose a family member, hold close your great memories, until you meet again. much love from jeff & kelly

We were so sorry to hear about Aunt Elaine's passing. We will always remember her visits to my Dad, Cecil's, place on the Hood Canal. She was so much fun to be around and always had a funny story. It was especially fun listening to her, Gerry and my Dad, talk about the old times in 'Monty'. She was a great cook and we enjoyed all of the delicious food she would bring to family get togethers. I (Sue) remember spending many holidays at their beautiful home when I was a little girl. She will be greatly missed.

I am so sad. The last of the gang - the fiestiest - the funnest - and the one with the most spirit.
I wish I could group hug! I am so sorry for your loss - you have been so lucky to be able to help her through this journey -and I know it must have been the hardest thing you've ever done.
I just need to cry for awhile. and remember the memories.
