I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Linda. We were in the Masters of Education program together through Lesley University. She was a wonderful person and teacher and many of us looked up to her like a mother. She was always kind and thoughtful and very caring. I really enjoyed the two years we spent together in the program and will pray for all of her family at this sad time.

I’ll never forget the courageous fight Aunt Linda gave that cancer. In my eyes, she was triumphant even though she lost her life to it. She taught us all to cherish everything around us and fight for it each and every day. I’m so thankful that she loved me enough to make my babies their first blankets. I’ll always have something to remember her by with a smile. I know she touched the lives of many and I hope you, Uncle Bill and my dear cousins Megan and Annie can take comfort in knowing she is now at peace and free from the pain. She lives in each of you and will not be forgotten by many.
On a lighter note, I still haven’t tried that Thanksgiving mincemeat pie but will think of you everytime I see one!! Love you Aunt Linda.

Linda was my first teacher at South Bay and my close neighbor. She instilled in me a love of learning and exploration that continues to this day. Linda will live on in her family and in those she taught. Her influences, through them, will continue to better the world. She was a great teacher, a great neighbor, and a wonderful person. To her family, my love and condolences are with you. She will forever be missed but never forgotten. Brandon

I'm very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Melton was my kindergarten teacher in 1988. She was a wonderful teacher. I only remember a few teachers from my childhood but she is one of them. Her family will be in our thoughts. I'm glad to of had her in my life even though it was so long ago.

Bill, Megan and Andrea, I am so sorry to hear about Linda's passing. My thoughts and prayers to you and all of your family. It seems like only a few years the girls were riding in the back of the VW Rabbit, with a smoked pig, with a sign, saying "PIG" for the first annual Pig Fest. Linda was always nice to be around, she will be looking down on all of you.
