Although I did not know your Mom, I am sure that special glow and the ability to make people laugh as you always did was a gift you inherited from her. May God bless

Jannelle
I have just found out why my phone call were of no avial in locating you....I so needed your guidance and love, I will so miss that from you. I have no way of knowing how I will ever find a sponsor to replace you. You cannot imagine how much you helped. I will always remember the many hours we shared talking of the Love of our daughters. I called Terra and left a message and recieved a return message what a sweet voice and thoughtfulness I was devastated to learn the creator brought you home. But we spoke many times that all is in his hands. I will always remember the times we prayed together in person and on the phone. Terra your Mother will be missed and you are in my prayers I loved her so. I pray peace will come your way.

Friends of Janelle,
As I think back over my time with Janelle the phrase which comes to my mind is, "In giving she found herself". I will always remember and miss Janelle. I hope that time will heal your pain and bring you peace.

I know Judy through her connection with the youth of Port Townsend. I am shocked at this loss, and would like you to know how much she meant to several of the youth in my life. She filled them with confidence and joy. I am grateful to have known her.

Dear Terra - I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I know that you will miss her and probably feel more "alone" now. I am an only child also. I would have sent you a card but I don't have an address or phone number for you. The pain is intense now and we never stop missing them!

Your Mother brought her lightness of being into the Methodist church in Port Townsend where she was a member. I realised that she had some severe heath issues, but they all took a back seat on her priority list as she went about making her life as giving, and as full as she possibly could. I commend her courage, and I am sure that she has passed this on to you, and as this sad, momentious time passes, her bright spirit, not the "down" times in her life with you, but the brightness of her goodness will follow you through your life. Thank you for sharing this sad news with us in Port Townsend. I am out of town, or it would be so nice to meet you, and give you a great big hug for your loss.

She was a good friend...a creative and authentic soul.
I miss her hugs, her direct and heartfelt feedback, her willingness to learn and to share ideas, her laughter in my garden as we pulled weeds and shared our hearts, and I will miss her kale omelets.

Dear Terra, She would never tell me how old she was and I never cared, interesting that she was born the same day as my dad. For almost two years she was my "listener". She brought out all those things I wouldn't tell anyone else, I had that certain trust I have rarely found in anyone else, for that I will always be grateful. I will miss her. May her spirit live on in you. She was a trooper and never gave up on that precious thing we all know as Hope.... she always had a crush on me, what a sweetheart....
Rainbow Chaser
Never mind the time that was gone
being lost to all those hurtful things....
that's when she climbed upon his throne
where she heard the song a rainbow sings
And she let her heart bask in the colors
of red and purple and blue and gold
and let them in where others couldn't go
giving her comfort as His word foretold....
A soul is given and a soul is taken
from those that loved her as she was
with all the frailties that made her human
when the sunlight does the things it does.
Then life's raindrops would come again,
and break her heart once more
but never doubt she chased a few rainbows
and has no need to want for color anymore....
She laid her head upon her pillow
and heard that voice we all shall hear
saying, "come to me with open arms
you have need to fear....."
So next time when the sun and rain
fall from the Heaven that she came to know
close your eyes and just imagine
she is chasing after that last rainbow....

I am very sorry for your loss. Jenelle was in my classes in Winter and Spring quarters and was such a big presence in class as I'm sure she was in the lives of everyone who knew her. I know from talking with her that she had a very strong spiritual belief and I hope that she continues in that belief. She will be remembered.
