Diana C. Green, 82, a long time resident of Olympia, passed away at home of natural causes on Monday, May 3, 2010. Diana was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho on March 13, 1928. She attended school in Spokane and graduated from North Central High School. On May 13, 1951, Diana Cooper married Freddie Green in Coeur d’Alene , Idaho. She became a military wife while Freddie served in The United States Air Force, where she worked as a Civilian Payroll Clerk in Civil Service at the Army Base at Fort Lewis, Washington.Diana enjoyed crocheting, sewing and collecting all kinds of coins, bottles, glass, cookbooks, and books – especially mystery’s. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving Diana are her husband Freddie L. Green; sons, Shannon W. Green, and Kevin C. Green; daughter, Sharree L. Dahm; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Floyd N. Cooper; sisters, Ruth Lewis and Pearl Powell; and extraordinary extended family members, Cynthia and Jim MacIntire.
