Obituary of James E. Gleizes

Visitation: Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, 3:00 – 7:00 PM and Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 10:00am – 12:00 noon, at The Masonic Lodge Bldg., 521 North St. SE, Tumwater James Edwin Gleizes, 57, a lifelong Olympia resident, passed away of Pulmonary Fibrosis on August 7, 2010. Jim was born February 26, 1953 in Olympia, WA to Edwin and Doris Gleizes. He graduated from Tumwater High School with the Class of 1973. He married Sonja (Eby) Winkelman. They had two sons. He was employed by the brewery and retired shortly after it closed. In 1998 Jim married Brenda Lee Bray. When not working, Jim enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends and his puppy Coco, antiquing, and was a memorabilia collector. Surviving Jim are his wife Brenda; sons, Chris (Molly) Gleizes and Matt (Jenni) Gleizes; 3 grandchildren, Gabe, Mykenzee, and Matthew Jr.; brother, Gerald Pfaff; sisters, Helen Hamann, Laura Alverson, and Sandee Gleizes; father-in-law, Jake Bray; and brother-in-law Greg (Karen) Bray. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Doris, and a brother George Pfaff. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to his wife, Brenda.
