Obituary of Marie Therese Bowman

Marie Therese Bowman passed peacefully at home in Olympia, Washington, on January 5, 2024.

 

Marie was born on April 14, 1935, in LaRochelle, France, and moved to the United States in 1958 with her husband, Joseph R. Bowman. She assisted and mentored many French students at The Evergreen State College, where her service was greatly appreciated.  She had a great love of music and dance. 

 

She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two siblings, Annick Normand and Ginette Merour; three children, Loran Bowman, Cherril Bowman and Daphne Valentine; and five grandchildren, Jacob, Chase, Parker, Isaiah and Elijha.

 

She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
