Obituary of Katherine May (Haddock) Seals

Katherine May “Kathy” Seals, age 64, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Washington.

 

Kathy was born October 21, 1959, in Yakima, Washington, to David and Oleta (Starnes) Haddock. She later attended school in Matlock Washington.

 

Kathy enjoyed her childhood growing up in the country with loving parents, good food, many animals, and cars. She lived each day with these reminders, and it could be seen through the food she cooked, the TV shows she watched, the many antiques she collected, and the animals that she lovingly cared for. She enjoyed spending time working in her yard and tending to her beautiful flowers. She loved the beach and cruising down the coast. Kathy was a caregiver by heart and loved caring for her husband and animals, most recently her kitties Gracie and Bentley. Kathy was so proud of her son, Justin, and adored her granddaughter, Jaelyn. She was looking forward to retirement, which meant she could spend more time with family, and have sleepovers with her granddaughter.

 

Kathy is survived by her son, Justin (Tara); brothers Larry (Dana) and Bruce (Lisa); children through marriage, Jaymee (Jesse) and Michael; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers.

 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
