Obituary of Kandace Kapri Savage

Kandace Kapri Savage, cherished daughter, sister, and friend to many, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Seattle, Washington, surrounded by loved ones.   She was born on September 30, 2000, in Fussa, Japan near Yokota Airbase.

Kandace was a loving and compassionate person who loved to sing, dance, and be silly.  She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.  She truly adored being a big sister to Myles and Gabriella.  Kandace never hesitated to spend quality time with them, whether it was creating TikToks, treating them to ice cream, or simply sitting in the shade during an impromptu picnic.

Kandace was a huge fan of all things Disney.  She had the opportunity to visit three separate Disney parks in France, California, and Florida.  All Disney/Pixar animated movies were on constant repeat on her television, and the vinyl of Hamilton boomed from her record player.

Her love of learning led her to Seattle Pacific University, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology.  During her four years at the school, she made many lifelong friendships.

Simple pleasures and holidays brought great joy to Kandace.  She was able to travel the world, as she lived in three countries and three states.  She loved spending time with family and friends. Kandace found true happiness as a daycare provider and spending time with the kids in her care.  Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.

Kandace is survived by her mother, Kenya Howard; her stepfather, Christopher Howard; her siblings, Myles and Gabriella; and many grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023, at South Sound Manor, 455 North Street SE, Tumwater, WA 98501.  A reception will follow the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to Make-a-Wish of Alaska and Washington, https://wish.org/akwa.

Please leave condolences or share memories and photos on the Tribute Wall to the left.
