William Mauerman

Obituary of William Ray Mauerman

We are filled with sadness to announce the sudden loss of our Bill in an accident while he was doing something he loved, riding his motorcycle.

Bill was born and lived his life in Olympia, Washington. He was predeceased by his father, Dale; mother, Ernestine; and sister, Susan.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Patty; son, Billy Mauerman (Rashel); daughter, Emma McLain; granddaughter, Natalya Mauerman; sisters, Julie McCuiston (Mike) and Gerry Lockhart; and a boatload of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill will be remembered for his warm bear hugs and his enthusiasm for life. He loved traveling, sailing, motorcycling and spending time with his family and friends. Bill loved going out to breakfast and would never pass up a piece of pie.

Farewell sweet Bill. May you feel our love as you ride against the wind toward your next great adventure.

In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to Olympia First Baptist Church Sunday Feeding Ministry, PO Box 533, Olympia WA 98507, where Bill enjoyed volunteering his time.

Please join us in a celebration of life on June 24, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Lacey Senior Center, 6757 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, WA 98503.
