Obituary of Stuart "Dale" Alexander

Stuart “Dale” Alexander passed away April 7, 2022, in Elma, Washington, his home of 50 years.  He was born May 18, 1938, to John Mose Alexander and Elinor Grace Stewart Alexander in The Dalles, Oregon.

Dale served in the U.S. Navy and was a logger by profession.  He married Shirley Ann Carroll on June 3, 1971; she passed away on April 21, 2015.  A simple man, Dale loved spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed gardening, canning, motorcycle riding, and camping.

He is survived by his daughters, Raynona Jones and Lori Gibbs; son, Stewart Alexander; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Vernon Heater.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John Mose Alexander and Elinor Grace Heater; and brother, Lloyd Heater.
