Things that were beautiful about our mother:

Her kind spirit

The way she snuggled all those foster babies

Her love of swimming

The way she never made people feel judged

Her love of campfires

Her tenacity

The way she rocked that PT Cruiser

Her wedding pictures

The way she loved her brothers and sisters

The way she never checked her PO Box

Her laugh

Her love of turtles

The way she said thank you, and meant it

The way she rolled her eyes at Pops

Her love of greeting cards

The way you could feel her love

Her sense of humor

The way she loved people who really needed it

Her genuine interest in people

Her positive outlook

The way she always messed up the punch line

Her love for Hawaii

The way she was always up for adventures

The way she forgave

Her love of motorcycles

The way she remembered what was important to others

Her devotion to her family

The way she missed her momma

Her wisdom

The way she made everyone in her life her “family”

Her cooking

The way she could befriend anyone

Her undying loyalty

The way she loved with every bit of herself

Her zeal for life

The way her personality would capture your heart

Her sweet nature

The sparkle in her eyes when she spoke about those she loved

Her hugs, oh man those hugs

The way she brought peace to an aching heart

Her smile when you surprised her

The way she shined bright when life seemed dark

Her giving heart

The way she loved her grand babies

The way she loved our father

The way she loved us
