Debbie is remembered by her family for being loving, compassionate, and determined. She married Eldwin Manes Lovelady on August 1, 1974, in Spokane, Washington. She is survived by four of their  children, Eldwin Lovelady, Jeri Lee O’Connor, Wendy Lynn Griffin and Beth Leah Lovelady; her eight grandchildren, Sylvia DePriest, Danna, Riley and Braden Griffin, Jenna and Jordan O’Connor, and Anika and Sabina Leischner; her adopted siblings, Sherry Levinson, Karen Grossman and Mark Levinson. She dedicated her life to her family and provided constant support to Eldwin’s careers in the U.S. Air Force and the Episcopal Church. These careers took them all over the country and across the world. She had the opportunity to live in multiple places, including Okinawa, Japan; Walla Walla, Washington; Pueblo, Colorado; Sewanee, Tennessee; Jamestown, New York; and Las Vegas, Nevada. In all these places, she volunteered her time with organizations like the Red Cross, served on altar guilds, taught Sunday school and confirmation classes, and sang in the choir. She had a long career as a dedicated childcare provider and was the Director of Just for Kids childcare center in Sewanee, Tennessee. She was also a life-long fabric artist and sold her work at community craft fairs.
