Obituary of Jacob Scott Drury

Jacob Scott “Jake” Drury passed away January 28, 2020 in Kirkland, Washington.  He was born November 10, 1994, to Shannon R. Malone and Scott W. Drury in Chatan-cho, Japan. A resident of Centralia, Washington, for 12 years, Jake also lived in San Diego, California (2001-2003, 2005, 2008); Tunisia, North Africa (2003-2005); Manilla, Philippines (2002-2003); Tucson, Arizona (1997-2000); Northampton, England (1995-1997); and Okinawa, Japan (1994-1995).

 

Jake graduated from Centralia Beauty College in 2012, and was a beauty supplier. He loved music, art, drawing and painting.  He also loved the beach and any type of water-related activity.

 

Jake was a very loyal son and friend. He had a peaceful soul with lots of compassion and empathy for others.  He also was very respectful and had good manners.

 

He is survived by his parents; and grandparents, Bonnie and Dennis Drury. He was predeceased by grandparents, Susan and Ronald Stringer.

 

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
