Obituary of Enid Evelyn Johnson

Enid Evelyn Johnson, 84 years old, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2019 in Chehalis, Washington. Enid was born on December 18, 1934 in Merced, California, to parents Evan and Edna Howard. She graduated from Centralia High School in 1953, later moving to Chehalis in 1972.

Enid married Warren Johnson on September 6, 1975 in Chehalis. She spent many years working in statistics, making bank checks, and eventually retiring in 1987. Enid enjoyed shopping, bowling, crafts, and also was a member of the Chehalis Eagles, Red Cross and Red Hats Club.

Enid is survived by her spouse, Warren Johnson of Chehalis; sons, Evan (Sandy) Davis of Winnemucca, Nevada, Earl (Stephanie) Boland of Yakima, Washington; stepson, Gregg (Kathy) Johnson of Chehalis; three stepdaughters, Sundee (Marty) Jacobson of Centralia, Sheila Johnson-Teeter of Chehalis, Terri (Ron) Haselwood of Centralia, Washington; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Evan and Edna Howard; son, Duane Boland; and three sisters, Eloise, Yvonne Dixon, and Elsie May.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way, Chehalis, WA 98532. The family asks that memorial donations be made to American Red Cross, 1570 N. National Ave., Suite 205, Chehalis, WA 98532, or a charity of your choice.

Enid will be privately interred at Claquato Cemetery at a later date.
