Obituary of Stacey Fitzgibbons Cantrell

Stacey Fitzgibbons Cantrell passed away January 27, 2019 in Oakville, Washington.  She was born December 15, 1960 to Frances and Denise Fitzgibbons in St. Charles, Missouri, and grew up on the family farm in Warrenton, Missouri. She spent many years living in Santa Clara and San Jose, California, prior to arriving in Washington in 2001.

 

Stacey graduated from Warrenton High School in Warrenton, Missouri.  She married Jack Cantrell on December 16, 1981 in Reno, Nevada.  She worked for Modulus Graphite Products and Graphite Guitar Systems in California, and for Harry’s Grocery in Oakville.  

 

Stacey was a very loving, outgoing person, and was everyone’s friend and partner in adventure and mischief.  She loved Grateful Dead concerts, fireworks, and making people laugh.  She was always entertaining, and an adventurous playmate disguised as a babysitter for numerous cousins and friends.

 

Stacey is survived by her husband of 28 year, Jack Cantrell; brother-in-law, Jim Dixon. In Missouri, Stacey is survived by sisters, Shelley (Gary) Witthaus and family, Carrie Fitzgibbons, and Erin Fitzgibbons; brother, Matt (Jennifer) Fitzgibbons and family; and many more relatives and friends.

 

She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Michael Fitzgibbons; and sisters, Glenda Fitzgibbons and Shawna Knight.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Shaggy Aggy’s Event Hall, 6315 183rd St. SW, Rochester, WA 98579.
