We enjoyed 8 years with Buc as our neighbor in Laurel Oaks in Lacey. At weekly social events he shared many insightful stories of his hotel management in Tacoma, volunteer Fire Dept. episodes, and experiences in very diverse businesses. He expressed a strong value system of seeking to do the right thing for other people and the organizations fortunate enough to have him as a member. We will miss him.

I was fortunate enough to have Buc And Pat as neighbors for several years in Kirkland. They also became my travel agents for trips all over the world. They were exceptional and very helpful if I ran into problems. They were also good friends and great fun. Buc’s sense of humor was terrific and he seemed to be always upbeat. I would enjoy dropping by the Travel Office just to visit and enjoy Their warmth of their friendship. .

It is still very hard to think of Buc in the past tense. I am waiting for another E-mail from him ( he always picked those that were G-rated which were so funny at times)
We have a picture of Buc reading a bedtime story to his grandson, Brian. It is a perfect picture of calmness & peace that Stewart & I will always cherish. We all have such fond memories of him.
Buc was blessed with a partner in life that most will never experience and a family that loved & will deeply miss him. Buc took a piece of our hearts with him when he passed into Eternal Rest.
Because life is so precious, it can be hard to let our loved ones go when the time comes for them to depart this earth and go to Heaven. Buc fought a good fight & he will now be at Peace.
We miss you & you will always be in our hearts.
Love, Stewart, Karen, Sean, Brian, Erin, Evelyn & Ian

(Revelation 21:3, 4) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

I’m so grateful that Buc was my good friend and neighbor. Many good memories of times together.
